Walls can form a key feature in any project from simple garden landscaping to property boundaries. We can offer a vast range of types/styles to suit the local conditions and stone availability. Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are a common structure throughout the UK. They are often composed of two parts: a) the structured elements which is often reinforced concrete; and b) the facing which is commonly stone. All aspects are undertaken from base excavation, reinforced concrete and finally stone facing.

Stone Facing

A key element in house building is the finished visual look. Here in the Lake District, the planning authority often stipulates that new houses or extensions have to be in keeping with local appearance. This leads to a demand for stone facing and there are many types of stone styles that can be accomplished by ourselves.

Sea Defences

Sea defence works can be complex as the tidal changes have a bearing on the works as well as the site conditions. All aspects of tidal defence work can be carried out including gabion baskets, timber groynes, etc.
